Overview

Intellectual property (IP) rights are important for supporting an innovation-driven economy and the growth of industry and commerce in Singapore. Singapore’s IP regime has been ranked among the top five in the world by the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Index since 2014. In line with Singapore’s IP Hub Master Plan, it is desirable to develop skilled manpower to help businesses and R&D professionals harness IP with the aim of bringing ideas, products, services and brands to the global market. This two-day interactive workshop will provide participants with an introduction to IP with a focus on patents and more importantly, explore how such knowledge can be applied to their R&D careers/businesses.
