Overview

Stroke is the fourth course of death in Singapore and the main cause of long-term physical disability in adults. With the ageing population and changing lifestyle factors, the burden of stroke is expected to increase, and will be a challenge to the society, family and individual. This symposium provides a critical evidence-based update of stroke management across the continuum of care in Singapore. It also aims to explore ways in which stroke care can be enhanced via interprofessional perspectives.
