Overview

Powder handling is an essential part of manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical industry. As the adoption of single-use flexible containment gains traction in the ever-increasing involvement of HPAPI (High Potency Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) in the Pharmaceutical industry, supporting equipment and technologies are required to provide an integrated and complete solution for powder handling from raw materials to intermediates and products. Common problems that stem from powder handling like leaks, lumping, mixing, transportation, as well as drumming can be mitigated or resolved with powder handling technologies also known as Modular Process Containment (MPC).
