Therefore, a firm grounding in business statistics is critical to every individual who wishes to excel in the accounting profession.
With the aid of business-focused settings, students will learn and master descriptive statistics, probability theory and distributions, sampling distributions, inferential statistics and regression analysis. Beyond the statistical computations, this module makes attempt to emphasis conceptual understanding, interpretation of statistical results and application to case studies
What You’ll Learn
- Use descriptive statistical methods to organize, summarize and present data
- Use statistical models and methods to compute statistical measures including probabilities, confidence intervals and p values
- Interpret and explain significance of statistical measures including probabilities, confidence intervals, p values, and regression coefficients
- Apply statistical analysis to case studies and employ results to facilitate decision making
Who Should Attend
Singaporean students who are unable to return to their overseas universities due to Covid-19 situation.
