Overview

To meet the current and emerging healthcare needs of Singaporeans, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has set out three key shifts for Singapore’s healthcare system under the Healthcare Industry Transformation Map (Healthcare ITM):

  1. “Beyond Healthcare to Health” (To help support Singaporeans to lead healthier lives);
  2. “Beyond Hospital to Community” (To enable Singaporeans to receive appropriate care in the community and closer to home); and
  3. “Beyond Quality to Value” (To give every Singaporean the best value, while keeping our system sustainable).

Underpinning these three shifts in the application of evidence-based practice is the key to ensuring the best patient outcomes at the lowest cost throughout the levels of the healthcare system: primary care, acute care, and community care.

This 2-day workshop will develop introductory knowledge and skills involved in evidence-based practice innovation and productivity improvement in Nursing.
