Overview
Businesses need to constantly adapt to new business environments, especially in these unprecedent times of crisis, trade wars and rapidly changing customer expectation. Subsequently, the business goal must be not only to optimise revenues by re-focussing on customers, stakeholders, processes and costs, but also to identify untapped revenue opportunities. This module seeks to apprise learners of the concept of revenue optimisation and ancillary revenues in the context of the hospitality industry in order to optimise business performance.
This course provides an introduction to ‘Revenue Optimisation and Ancillary Revenues’ for managers in service industries such as retail, tourism and hospitality through a combination of taught content and self-learning material such as case studies.

A Certificate of Participation will be issued to participants who:
- Attend 75% of the course
- Undertake non-credit bearing assessment (during course)
A Certificate of Attainment for each module will be issued to participants who:

- Participants who pass the Continuous Assessment

SkillsFuture Funding
To be eligible for the 70% training grant awarded, applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) must:
- Be a Singaporean Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Not receive any other funding from government sources in respect of the actual grant disbursed for the programme
SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy
To be eligible for the 90% enhanced subsidy awarded, applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) must:
- Be a Singaporean Citizen
- Be at least 40 years old
- Not receive any other funding from government sources in respect of the actual grant disbursed for the programme
SIT reserves the right to collect the balance of the programme fees (i.e. the potential grant amount) directly from the applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) should the above requirements not be fulfilled.
SIT reserves the right to make changes to published course information, including dates, times, venues, fees and instructors without prior notice.

There are a total of 11 credit-bearing modules, of which there are 4 core modules, and a choice of 4 out of 7 elective modules to meet the 24 credits requirements for the PGCert in Future Hospitality Experience. Candidates who complete 8 modules (4 core modules and 4 elective modules) totalling 24 credits with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 will be awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Future Hospitality Experience by SIT.
