Overview
The hospitality industry faces different challenges such as stagnant or decreasing revenues and shrinking or eroding profit margins, underutilised capacity among many other factors.This 2-day course targets middle managers and staff at the supervisory level in the hotel industry who are responsible for revenue maximisation, and ultimately for profit optimisation.
Through case studies and learning activities, participants will learn the theoretical foundations and practical operational applications of revenue management and distribution.

- Pre-requisites of revenue management
- Strategic levers and tactics
Topic 2
- Revenue Management Application: The interdependence of Space, Time and Pricing, with focus on supply & demand strategies, forecasting, market segmentation, pricing tactics and fencing, and development of competitive sets
Topic 3
- Revenue Management Implementation: A step-by-step approach and preparation of a revenue management plan
Topic 4
- Revenue Management in different areas such as Rooms, Gastronomy and Spa (THRM practice)
Topic 5
- Revenue Management and Distribution, with a focus on new and traditional distribution methods, and direct booking initiatives

SkillsFuture Funding
To be eligible for the 70% training grant awarded, applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) must:
- Be a Singaporean Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Not receive any other funding from government sources in respect of the actual grant disbursed for the programme
SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy
To be eligible for the 90% enhanced subsidy awarded, applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) must:
- Be a Singaporean Citizen
- Be at least 40 years old
- Not receive any other funding from government sources in respect of the actual grant disbursed for the programme
Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)
This is a Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) supported course. If you are an NTUC member, you can enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year for courses supported under UTAP.
