Movement control impairment refers to when a person is unable to adequately control his /her active movements, a condition which can lead to musculoskeletal problems and pain. A recent systematic review, coupled with several randomized control trials, showed that specific movement control exercises are more effective in treating back pain than other forms of treatment or exercises.
Participants in this 2-day course will learn how to perform valid tests, as well as demonstrate and teach related exercises to patients.
Upon completion of the course, participants are expected to be able to:
