Overview
Innovation and transformation have been the key drivers in aviation industry to equip companies with the formulas to survive in a highly competitive business landscape, even before the start of the pandemic. The Covid-19 crisis has further accelerated the impetus for change as many underlying issues that have been shackling the companies has been amplified during this time. Incremental evolution may no longer be sufficient to cope with the impact anymore. A revolutionary step change will likely be required. For real change to occur, every stakeholder in the company, from CEO to crew in the shop, must endorse the need for it. Establishing a correct mindset would be the essential foundation for a successful transition.
This 2-day awareness, and guidance session is intended to align the perspective of the participants to the growing challenges within the aviation industry, both vertically and horizontally in the supply chain. It seeks to encourage the participants to examine the new order of the aviation industry and the ways to cope with potential changes that may be experienced within their companies.
The participants will leave with insight into the importance of embracing change and the mechanics of change management to be an effective member of this process.

Who Should Attend
Participants can span across sections and levels within the companies, and even for industry beyond aviation.
It is particularly applicable for personnel who may be assigned to Company Projects that will entail breaking the status quo, and requires an overview of how to approach the issue by being conscious of the various key activities and requirements for managing change.

Participants should examine their organisation’s current situation, and identify areas within the Company that have been impacted by recent events (Covid-19, the recession, competition), and be prepared to share with the class.

Certificate and Assessment
A Certificate of Participation will be issued to participants who
- Attend 75% of the workshop; and
- Undertake non-credit bearing assessment (during course)

SkillsFuture Funding
In order to be eligible for the 70% training grant awarded by SkillsFuture, applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) must:
- Be a Singaporean Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Not receive any other funding from government sources in respect of the actual grant disbursed for the programme
SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy
To be eligible for the 90% enhanced subsidy awarded, applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) must:
- Be a Singaporean Citizen
- Be at least 40 years old
- Not receive any other funding from government sources in respect of the actual grant disbursed for the programme
