Overview
Service industries, specifically tourism, hospitality, retail and F&B sectors are always the first to be hit hard in a major crisis (e.g. pandemic viruses like SARS or COVID-19). A dramatic reduction in travel results in soring revenue losses. Many courses dealing with Crisis Management fall short of practical application with a sole focus on cost management only. Effective and revenue-oriented crisis management is paramount to cope with drastic changes in the actual business environment.
This 1.5-day interactive workshop will provide participants with the essential knowledge and skills in “Revenue-Oriented Crisis Management’. The workshop focuses on Crisis Management planning, post-and recovery crisis management practices and outlining ways to apply practical Revenue Management techniques to avoid and deal with revenue losses, whilst optimizing revenue potential in the crisis & post-crisis times. It aims to equip professionals with knowledge on coping with crisis and how revenue management can assist in recovering revenues. Hands-on practical sessions will be conducted on both days to complete the didactic teaching.
