Overview

This programme is designed to help local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to apply Kaizen techniques with coaching provided by trained SMRT and SIT faculty and staff. This 3-month programme comprises classroom trainings, customised on-site Kaizen improvement activities and project coaching.

  • 3. Kick-start a culture of continuous improvement

Who Should Attend

  • Management/Staff involved in identified area of business problem. Applicable for all industries

Certificate and Assessment

A Certificate of Attainment will be issued to participants who:

  • Attend at least 75% of the course
  • Undertake credit bearing assessment during the course

Terms & Conditions:

SkillsFuture Funding

To be eligible for the 70% training grant awarded, applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) must:
  1. Be a Singaporean Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
  2. Not receive any other funding from government sources in respect of the actual grant disbursed for the programme

SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy

To be eligible for the 90% enhanced subsidy awarded, applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) must:
  1. Be a Singaporean Citizen
  2. Be at least 40 years old
  3. Not receive any other funding from government sources in respect of the actual grant disbursed for the programm
Enhanced Training Support for SMEs(ETSS)

To be eligible for the 90% enhanced subsidy awarded, applicants must:
  1. Be a Singaporean Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
  2. Be an SME-sponsored employee
  3. Not receive any other funding from government sources in respect of the actual grant disbursed for the programme

^SME Definition:

  • at least 30% local shareholding AND
  • Group annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million OR Group employment size of not more than 200 employees
SIT reserves the right to collect the balance of the programme fees (i.e. the potential grant amount) directly from the applicants (and/or their sponsoring organisations where applicable) should the above requirements not be fulfilled.
