SITizens Learning Credits

Overview

Writing in the workplace must be clear, concise, and impactful. Messages have to be effectively expressed and presented to achieve the desired outcomes. Effective writers pay attention to context, audience, and purpose, as well as the characteristics of good writing.

This two-day workshop shows participants how to craft written messages appropriate to the situation, audience, and purpose. Participants will apply knowledge of good writing to different types of writing required in the workplace, such as email, meeting minutes, and letters.
