SIT offers practical skills-based Continuing Education and Training (CET) in advanced topics in Chemical Engineering to working professionals for career advancement in specialist, management tracks or for mid-career switching. The CET courses are available in multiple independent modules, each of 6 ECTS credits. Candidates who pass 4 modules (totalling 24 credits) with a CGPA of 2.5 or more will be awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Chemical Engineering (PGCert CE) by SIT. This graduate qualification signifies that the candidate has achieved competency in at least four advanced coursework modules in the area of Chemical Engineering.
The PGCert CE is also stackable for further qualification of Master of Science in Chemical Engineering (completion of 6 core modules and 4 elective modules, amounting to a total of 60 credits is required).
