SIT offers practical skills-based Continuing Education and Training (CET) in advanced topics in Electrical Power Engineering to working professionals for career advancement in specialist, management tracks or for mid-career switching.
Developed in alignment with the Skills Framework for Energy and Power (SFwEP), the CET courses are available in multiple independent modules, each of 6 ECTS credits. Candidates who pass 4 modules (totalling 24 credits) with a CGPA of 2.5 or more will be awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering by SIT. This graduate qualification signifies that the candidate has achieved competency in at least four advanced coursework modules in the area of Electrical Power Engineering. The PGCert EPE is also stackable for further qualification of MEngTech Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
