Preventive healthcare and early intervention have been proven to vastly reduce the risk of disease, disabilities, and death.

With the national shift toward this in Singapore, the demand for specialists in the area of sonography has naturally risen.

The SIT Postgraduate Qualifications in Sonography is designed with a clinical focus to deepen and broaden the skills of allied health professionals, enabling them to apply scientific learning, specialist knowledge and advanced practical skills to the clinical applications of ultrasound specialisation. This is in response to Singapore’s efforts in building a future-ready healthcare workforce for an ageing population facing chronic diseases that need good and accurate diagnosis.

The modules, each worth 6 credits, can be taken individually or stack towards a Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma in Sonography.

"The course offers hands-on opportunities during our learning sessions. It also provides access to subject experts either through physical or online means. This allows students to clarify any doubts personally. As such, the course has enhanced my learning which allowed me to apply the knowledge gained at work to perform better."
